There are many different types of brokers to choose from. Some brokers are full-service and offer a human to talk to in order to complete your trades. Others are electronically based and require little or zero interaction with a representative.
We recommend using a major broker if you are just beginning your trading career. E*Trade, Ameritrade, OptionsXpress and others are reputable companies that provide features that are helpful to new traders.
